Frequently asked questions
Find answers to your most commonly asked questions about door and window hardware.
Can I buy directly from Rolltrak?
We do not sell direct to the public. Our products can be purchased online or in-store through your local Bunnings Warehouse.
Where are your products made?
Our products are predominantly manufactured in China but also source products from Taiwan and Australia, please refer to the individual product packaging for specific origin.
Why does my nearest Bunnings Warehouse not carry all your products?
Not all Bunnings stores are the same size. Smaller stores carry a smaller number of product lines because of a lack of space. However, if you’ve seen a product on our website or on the Bunnings site that you can’t find in store, you can always ask the Bunnings Special Orders desk to order the item for you.
Do your products come with any warranty?
Please check the packaging and instructions for warranty details. These will also have instructions about what to do if you experience an issue or fault with any of our products. If you have any doubts or further questions about this, please contact us. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Can I order your products online?
Our products are sold at Bunnings Warehouses in Australia and New Zealand. Our range of products, including Special Order items, is available to be ordered online from www.bunnings.com.au for Click and Collect or delivery.
Do you offer technical advice?
Yes. Please contact our customer support team for assistance. Alternatively, the How-to section on our website also has videos and handy tips to help make assembly and installation easier.
What do I do if I am missing parts?
First, re-check each part against the parts list in the instructions. If for some reason, you still find you’re missing a part, please contact our customer support team.
How do I find the right carriage and/or roller for my window or door?
Where possible remove the carriage and/or roller from the window or door to help identify the product you require. On all of our carriage and roller product pages, you can find 1:1 pdfs. Print this PDF out to get an accurate image and size of the carriage and roller. This printout can be used to make sure your roller will fit the sliding door or window you’re installing it to. Our product pages also include measurements to help you match the carriage and roller to your door or window.
What if I only need to replace the roller and not the carriage?
Many of our carriages have replacement roller parts allowing you to replace just the roller. Example: R1210 adjustable carriage and roller uses R4130 as the replacement roller.
How do I install a door lock to an existing door?
Before attempting any installations of our locks, please read the instructions fully and watch our how to videos for handy tips.
What if the barn door tracks are too long for my door opening?
Barn door tracks can be cut down to the appropriate length for your door opening. We suggest cutting equal lengths from both ends of the track. In doing so, you may need to drill new fixing holes depending on your specific situation; there are plugs provided in the set to plug the original fixing holes. Please note: modifying the tracks will void the warranty.
What if the barn door tracks are too short for my door opening?
Barn door tracks can be extended to any length required. Please refer to the below points for extending your barn door track to a specific length.
- 3m track: 2 x barn door tracks + 1 x track connector makes a 4m track then cut 500mm from both ends
- 4m track: 2 x barn door tracks + 1 x track connector
- 5m track: 3 x barn door tracks + 2 x track connectors makes a 6m track then cut 500mm from both ends

Can the barn door tracks be used anywhere?
Barn door tracks are not suitable for wet areas or external settings.
